Dutchman's lost ledge of gold. 1990. Though Dutchman's lost ledge of gold is similar to Superstition gold mines and the Lost Dutchman, it is improved. It presents more information, with better maps and photographs. Wilburn concludes that the lost ledge of gold was by Bulldog mountain in the Goldfield area, to the west of Superstition Mountain. He provides a good history of Goldfield mining activity with a map of old mine sites and some photographs. Weakly argued, but he makes a good case for the Lost Dutchman Mine being where the gold was - at Goldfield. Doesn't have the facts too straight with regard to Waltz; could actually build a much stronger case. A serious effort nonetheless.
